For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the start of the season when the weather gets hot and humid and thoughts turn to the beach, cooling off in the water and wearing lightweight clothes. For my fellow pagans the solstice celebrates another turn of the wheel as we celebrate the solstice (aka Midsummer, or Litha). I wish for you all bright, warm, summery days filled with wondrous memories!

That's My Dad Blog Train

My apologies in the lateness in getting this on to the blog. We have had very bad t-storms coming through the area since early Monday morning and have been dealing with some messes from it (we are in a flash flood warning until Tuesday AM). I was in the middle of getting this post written up when I had to suddenly shut down everything because the storms were getting so bad, so again, my apologies - it couldn't be helped.

OK everyone!  I am back up and running and have participated in a blog train!  It feels great to get the creative juices flowing again, and I hope you all like my part of it.  We had some wonderful colors to work with (of course, my fave color – purple! – which I love paired with the green they have chosen).  So, without further ado, here is what it looks like:

 

The kit comes in both full size and tagger size.  The full size papers are 12 inches x 12 inches, 300 ppi and in both png and jpg format.  The elements are proportionate in size and are also 300 ppi, in png format only.  The tagger size papers are 800 pixels x 800 pixels, 72 ppi in both png and jpg format.  The elements are proportionate in size (not exceeding 800 pixels on its largest size), and in png format only.  Each zip contains both folders (papers and elements) plus the color palette that was used.

Wait 'til Ya Hear This!

Well, I am writing to let you know that I have signed up as an exclusive designer with a new store called Kreative Kreations Korner! I am very excited about this and hope that this is a start to a new, wonderful chapter in my life. I will be moving all the items I had at the Creativity Shack (which is no longer around, by the way) and move them over to the new store, as well as load up a few new things along the way. I have also signed up for a couple of blog trains that will be travelling through in the next few months. Spring Fever Blog Train, Update, And Featured Designer

I just wanted to let you all know that I am working on it, however I was put a little behind due to some things going on in my personal life, including our van being in an accident that totaled it (pics of it can be seen here), as well as my oldest son being sick for the last 4 or 5 days, and other life "crap". My apologies to all and I promise as soon as its completed, it will be posted. I am also working on a couple of other blog trains which are in the works and will be posted, just might be a day or two later than start time, to which I am apologizing to EVERYONE that comes by looking for my part. I will get them to you - just a little late. I feel REALLY bad about this - it is not like me to not have my portions up and ready. When I commit to something, I do my best to see it through.

Another thing that has been keeping me busy is I was given the awesome news that I am the Featured Designer of the Month at The Creativity Shack! I am so excited about this, so on top of my freebies and blog train items, I have been working on new items for the store. Additionally, because May 1st is National Scrapbooking Day, many of the designers (including yours truly!) are putting their items up for sale. All my items in the store will be 30% off their already low prices from May 1st to May 3rd in celebration of National Scrapbooking Day, so be sure to check them out!
