Sunrise, Sunset

Well, I am WIDE awake, waiting on the guy to come finish the ceiling in the bathroom. He was suppose to be here Monday, however he wasn't able to due to a doctor appointment, so here I sit, waiting...waiting...

Since I was awake, I thought I'd make one of the kits that I've had rolling around in my head. I love the colors in a sunset - they are just so breath-taking and beautiful. I used to love sitting on the beach, watching the sunset on the water. It's one of the things I miss about living so close to the ocean.

I tried to capture the colors of the sunset in this kit - mostly the yellows and oranges - as well as the idea of what a sunset is, or means. I hope you all like it! It's the biggest kit I've made so far, with 5 papers, 2 frames, and a bunch of different elements coming up to a total of 20 items!

The kit is available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage, .png
and can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate link, below:

Hope you all like what you see, and if you do, please check back often as I will be adding more items!
Thank you so much for looking and please, leave a comment! Would love to hear from you.

Hello everyone! Hope you are all having a good start to the week.

Here is another kit by me - a really big one too!

Photobucket

I just kept going and going... and not even sure why I chose the red (had a whole other color scheme in mind)... it sort of just took on a life of it's own.

It's available in 3 formats (.psp, .pspimage, .png) and can be downloaded here:

2. .pspimage

Pretty Bows

Hello Everyone!!

I've been keeping myself busy, learning how to make more scrapping elements and kit items and been having a LOT of fun doing it. Also trying to keep my mind off of things, like the fact our bathroom (dropped) ceiling completely caved in, and we are in the process of a 2-day job getting it redone. UGH. Although it will be nice to not have to worry about having ceiling tiles land on your head when your using the toilet or taking a shower!!

My share for today is a set of bows - 9 of them actually - in different colors! I hope that you like them. Here is the preview:

Photobucket

They are available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage and .png. The download links are below:

I have some ideas bouncing around in my head for a couple of different kits, so stay tuned! Please come back often if you like what you see.

It's A Mardi Gras!

My favorite color combination is deep purple with an emerald green, and for some reason, that color combination - mixed with gold - reminds me of Mardi Gras! I tried to get the colors as close to my mind's eye version as possible, and made a kit with those colors. There are 17 items in the kit, sure to keep you busy!

Here is a preview to the kit:

I also made some Mardi Gras Masks to go with it!

Both the kit and the masks are available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage and .png.

Freehand Bows!

Well, I tried something a bit different.

I was awake last night, tossing and turning, and came up with this idea in my head of trying to make bows freehand without needing a filter like AV Bros Page Curl Pro, since I can't afford the money to pay for it. So this evening I sat at my PSP and with a little creativity and the mesh warp tool and a few other things, I came up with these. I didn't use any tutorial at all, so any similarity is VERY MUCH coincidental!!

If interested, I have them uploaded. They are in 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage and .png. Links are below.
If you do anything with them, I'd love to see!
And please leave me some love - either here or on my 4shared.

Thanks!!

New Scrap Kit!

My friend Mary (of MDB Creations - link is in the Blogroll) made a wonderful new scrap kit called Sound of Music so of course, I had to make something with it. Here is my finished tag:

I'll probably be offering this tag either to my always list, or on the mini tagwar on the group that Mary and I run (M-MCT).

Make sure you check out Mary's scrapping blog too!!

Also, I made my own Scrap Kit - a first for me! I had a lot of fun doing it. Here is my first attempt at making a kit:

If you are interested in this kit it is available in 2 formats: either as a .pspimage where each item is on its own layer, or each item individually saved in .png format. You can download them here:

Format 1: .png
Format 2: .pspimage

No password needed for either one.

Enjoy, and would love to know if you use them and what you make with them!!

My New Scrapping Blog!

Hello everyone!

I will be using this blog to post my creations using scrap kits on Paint Shop Pro. I recently signed up to learn how to make my own scrap kits and embellishments so, when I get to that point, then I will have my kits up here as well.

Please bear with me as I get this up and going!

Thanks!
~Chelle (a.k.a. WillowRaven)
