Happy Summer Solstice!!

Photobucket

Hello everyone and welcome summer! For those of us in the Northern Hemisphere, it is the start of the season when the weather gets hot and humid and thoughts turn to the beach, cooling off in the water and wearing lightweight clothes. For my fellow pagans the solstice celebrates another turn of the wheel as we celebrate the solstice (aka Midsummer, or Litha). I wish for you all bright, warm, summery days filled with wondrous memories!

I am sure you are all here for my part of the Summer Solstice blog train, and I will not delay you any further. Here is my preview to my part:

That's My Dad Blog Train

Photobucket

My apologies in the lateness in getting this on to the blog. We have had very bad t-storms coming through the area since early Monday morning and have been dealing with some messes from it (we are in a flash flood warning until Tuesday AM). I was in the middle of getting this post written up when I had to suddenly shut down everything because the storms were getting so bad, so again, my apologies - it couldn't be helped.

Anyways, I know you are probably here for my part of the "That's My Dad" blog train, so without further ado, here is a preview to my part of the train:
