I've Been Tagged!!! LOL

Well, it's official! I've been tagged by 2 people: Elisa Aurora and Christon...... my first actually! So if I end up mucking it up, just let me know.

You've been tagged!!

These are the rules:

1.Link your tagger and list these rules on your blog.
2. Share 7 facts about yourself on your blog, some random, some weird.
3. Tag 7 people at the end of your post by leaving their names as well as links to their blogs.
4. Let them know they have been tagged by leaving a comment on their blog.

7 Weird or Random Facts, huh??

1. I attended Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA, majoring in Music Production and Engineering -- in the mid 1980's.
2. I'm a 43 year old mom to 4 children (ages 5 years to 19 years) who is also a hardcore video gamer. My favorite games are Final Fantasy (any, however I *LOVE* FFXI, which is an MMORPG...if anyone is on the Ifrit server, look for me, my main character is Willowraven!), all the Zelda games, Mario games, most RPG's, and my all-time fave is Tempest, which I used to play in the arcades back in the early 1980's. I'm not too crazy about fighting games, though I used to love WarGods on the N64 system.
3. I am a pagan witch that started a yahoogroup on 12/30/94 that is a support group for any pagans who are trying to lose weight, called Witchy Weight Loss...it now hovers around 130 members and we are like family.
4. I am a SEVERE arachnophobic! I have a very difficult time even LOOKING at a picture of a spider without totally freaking out.
5. I am a self-taught tarot reader, having been doing it since I was 11 years old. I have done readings at psychic faires, as well as both online and in person. I currently do it as a form of 'added income', and my 'company' is called Purple Dragonfly Tarot Readings.

6. I giggle in my sleep sometimes to the point that I have woken up both my husband AND myself!
7. My 'cravings' tend towards the salty/starchy side, and one of the things I'll have is potato chips with a "shrimp dip", which is whipped cream cheese (Temp-tee brand is the BEST for this) and cocktail sauce (with the mini shrimp in it is ideal) ... mixed together. This is something my mom used to make when I was little and I've always grown up with it.

That's my 7!!

Daisies, Daisies Everywhere!

Well, after doing hours of searches for tutorials and other kinds of help to be able to make the kind of bows I want, I ended up de-stressing by playing a bit in PSP, and came up with these daisies:

2 New Freebies!

Well, I have 2 new freebies for you all that I hope you really really like!

First up are some glassy seashells in a variety of colors. I was missing 'my ocean', and decided to do something that makes me think of those times I used to love walking the beach, wading my feet in the salty water, and watching the sun set. I really enjoyed making these, and hope you enjoy using them.

Here is the preview:

Here are the download links (in the usual 3 formats) for the seashells:

My second share is something new I learned and wanted to share with you all. I thought they came out pretty nice, and they are Photo Corners. Again, made them in a variety of colors, and hope you like them.

Sunrise, Sunset

Well, I am WIDE awake, waiting on the guy to come finish the ceiling in the bathroom. He was suppose to be here Monday, however he wasn't able to due to a doctor appointment, so here I sit, waiting...waiting...

Since I was awake, I thought I'd make one of the kits that I've had rolling around in my head. I love the colors in a sunset - they are just so breath-taking and beautiful. I used to love sitting on the beach, watching the sunset on the water. It's one of the things I miss about living so close to the ocean.

I tried to capture the colors of the sunset in this kit - mostly the yellows and oranges - as well as the idea of what a sunset is, or means. I hope you all like it! It's the biggest kit I've made so far, with 5 papers, 2 frames, and a bunch of different elements coming up to a total of 20 items!

The kit is available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage, .png
and can be downloaded by clicking on the appropriate link, below:

Hope you all like what you see, and if you do, please check back often as I will be adding more items!
Thank you so much for looking and please, leave a comment! Would love to hear from you.

Pretty Bows

Hello Everyone!!

I've been keeping myself busy, learning how to make more scrapping elements and kit items and been having a LOT of fun doing it. Also trying to keep my mind off of things, like the fact our bathroom (dropped) ceiling completely caved in, and we are in the process of a 2-day job getting it redone. UGH. Although it will be nice to not have to worry about having ceiling tiles land on your head when your using the toilet or taking a shower!!

My share for today is a set of bows - 9 of them actually - in different colors! I hope that you like them. Here is the preview:

Photobucket

They are available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage and .png. The download links are below:

Please feel free to share what you have made with any of my items - would love to see them!! Would also love to hear from those of you who download my items, and if there is anything you would like to see me make and share, just leave a message or send me an email and I'll do my best!

I have some ideas bouncing around in my head for a couple of different kits, so stay tuned! Please come back often if you like what you see.

It's A Mardi Gras!

My favorite color combination is deep purple with an emerald green, and for some reason, that color combination - mixed with gold - reminds me of Mardi Gras! I tried to get the colors as close to my mind's eye version as possible, and made a kit with those colors. There are 17 items in the kit, sure to keep you busy!

Here is a preview to the kit:

I also made some Mardi Gras Masks to go with it!

Both the kit and the masks are available in the following 3 formats: .psp, .pspimage and .png.
